New Memorial Proposed for Barrack Square, Martlesham

Martlesham Heath became an experimental station at the time of it’s opening in 1917 until it was decommissioned in 1963. Martlesham Heath Aviation Society is currently endeavouring to record this for posterity by raising funds to place a monument between the two existing war memorials on the barrack square at Martlesham.
