MHAS at Lowestoft Air Festival
We had two good days at the show - we put our name on the map, including visitors from America, New Zealand, Europe, and all over the UK. We met several of the performers, thanks to our artist Geoff Pleasance and assistant show organizer Anna Hogan. We formed good relationships with some commercial enterprises including Robinsons and John Grose.
Visitors to the MHAS stand (pictured left - click to enlarge) asked an enormous number of educated questions about everything under the sun, aviation related.
Many thanks to Robert Dunnett, Russell Bailey, David Bloomfield, Alan Powell, Don Kitt, Howard King, Jack King and especially Geoff Pleasance who once again demonstrated his generosity.
The Harrier GR7 crash (click
on small photo to enlarge) made the day interesting,
as no-one was hurt. This wasn't just luck but proof that UK
air display regulations are second to none. For me, the Grumman
Albatross was the show stopper, with many take off and
landings in the sea.
