Dear MHAS,

My name is Robert Macy and I am Joe Ziolkowski's son-in-law.

Joe is in good health and is looking forward to his 91st birthday party next Sunday.

Attached is a scan of a photo which I believe was taken in England at Martlesham Heath (shown, right), in 1943.

It shows my father in law (Joe) with an unidentified member of his or another squadron outside a dwelling which I believe were his quarters.

The bicycle in the photo is similar if not the same one in Kent Millers book on the 356th fighter group.

Mr. Zilkowski tells a story of how he performed barber duties for some of the lads at his armorers hut and garnered rides into town as a trade for his services.
