Getting to the Control Tower Museum
By Air
Sadly, although there is still a small section of runway and taxiway remaining, you
can no longer fly into Martlesham Heath. Nor Ipswich, since
the airport was closed to build housing.
By Bus
Route 66 bus, ask driver to stop at FIRST
bus stop in Eagle Way. Footpath on the right leads to Museum.
By car
Turn off the A12 at the Tesco roundabout
into Eagle Way, third right into Parkers Place, first left
into roadway that leads to the Museum Car Park. The Museum
is located in an area off Deben Avenue. Plenty of parking
space.
