At last months talk, Mr Martyn Cook publicly announced that he was stepping down from the Chairmans role.

He has held this position since 1984 as well as other roles within the Society and has been at the forefront of all aspects of the Society since its inception.

Everyone linked to the Aviation Society would like to express their thanks and gratitude for all he's done in the role, and success in his continuing roles as the Membership Secretary and Newsletter Editor.

However we're also especially pleased to announce that Maggie Aggiss will be taking on the Chairman role and wish her every success and support in taking the Martlesham Heath Aviation Society forward.

As part of this re-organisation within the Trustees, we are also pleased to welcome Terry Wright into his new role as Museum Manager, taking up the reins from Maggie.
