Meetings start at 7.30pm with a tea/coffee break at half time.

2026 will soon be upon us, and MHAS is pleased to welcome back Chris Turland to the Community Centre on Friday 2nd January to tell us about the story of the key roles performed by women in aviation and its development during the 20th Century. Please come along and join us!

February sees us welcome Kara Neave to bring us the little known story of the heroic nurses who flew to help the wounded after D-Day. As always, we're looking forward to hearing a fascinating talk. Please come and join us!

March sees us welcoming Don Mobley to give us two talks on fascinating subjects! Drones have become an increasingly visible part of civilian and military life and Don explores their dramatic evolution and a glimpse into the future. He then will give us an insight into the founding of NASA, the geopolitical and technological environment and the impact on Society during the Space Race of the 50's and 60's - as always we're sure it will be a great evening. Come and join us!

MHAS presents another film event showcasing two really interesting subjects: The first takes us back to World War 2, "We Fought Them In Gunboats" is brought to us by Tim Curtis, the renowned TV & Film maker and the second takes us back to the Cold War era and the multitude of operational people, places and elements which formed the "Cold War - East Anglia The Front Line".
