How You Can Help

Martlesham Heath Aviation Museum is committed to preserving the past for the future and is dependent on fundraising and donations. There are a number of ways that you can help.

The objective is to secure a long-term future for the museum, building on the work started by the small band of determined enthusiasts. Every donation, large or small, will help us in this endeavour.

Become a Volunteer

As a charity, Martlesham Heath Aviation Museum relies on its team of dedicated volunteers to help it run and thrive.

A few hours of your time could make all the difference at Martlesham Heath Aviation Museum, there are all sorts of things we need help with.

Volunteers are always welcome for the following tasks:-

- helping staff the Museum speaking to members of the public and safeguarding the exhibits. The Museum is often praised for its friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We would welcome you to our team.

- working behind the scenes at our weekend or work parties to improve exhibitions and displays and continue vital restoration.

- helping maintain the gardens- grass cutting, weeding, planting flowers etc

- helping write newsletters.

If you live too far away from the museum to offer physical assistance, perhaps you could help distribute some museum leaflets to local tourist attractions to help promote our lovely museum.
